Owners Jay and Kay Stoeger purchased 38 acres along the East Twin River Valley in 1993. On the property they built stables and an arena that would later become Cold Country Vines & Wines.
Cold Country Vines & Wines is trying to make it easier to get our wines. We currently are available in 2 other locations:
Piggly Wiggly in Kewaunee
Superior Liquor in Manitowoc
We have one of the largest vineyards in Wisconsin. Many of the surrounding wineries buy grapes from Cold Country.
Kay and Jay do a little of everything from sticking young vines into the ground to working in the Tasting Room.
Angela assists in all aspects of winemaking from pruning grapes to repairing machinery. She is relatively new to the business but is learning fast.
Mary loves the vineyard and it shows. Since Mary joined our team several years back, the vineyard looks better and better each year.
